Turn Your Impact Into Your Best Fundraiser

Are you tired of nonprofit videos that could belong to any organization in the country? Do you struggle to find a production company that understands donor psychology, participant consent, and a gala date that is never going to move?

We understand the challenges you face. Our team specializes in nonprofit video production and will work with you every step of the way, so your programs, your people, and your participant stories are captured in a way that makes giving feel obvious.

"We had Aktion Productions film a gala and it turned out beautifully! We use the video as a promotion tool for other events and it made a huge difference in establishing our trust and credibility in the market while increasing donors."

Donor Impact Stories

The people your work has changed are the most persuasive fundraisers you have, and one honest story on camera carries an appeal further than a page of program statistics.

We film in the places your work actually happens, and we handle releases, guardian consent, and identity protection before anyone sits down in front of a camera.

Gala and Fundraising Event Films

The two minutes before the ask decide how the rest of the night goes, so a gala film that lands gets the room quiet and then gets the paddles up.

We build the film around your run of show and your revenue goal, and we deliver in the format your AV team needs well before the load-in.

Capital and Annual Campaign Videos

A campaign runs for months and asks the same question a hundred different ways, and one anchor film gives every ask a shared story your board, staff, and volunteers can all point to.

We plan these as a set, so the anchor film, the short social cuts, and the one-minute version for the donor meeting all come out of the same shoot day.

Grant and Program Documentation

Funders read a lot of proposals that sound alike, so footage of the program actually running gives a reviewer something the narrative section cannot.

We shoot on your schedule and at your participants’ comfort level, and we archive the raw files so next year’s report and next year’s proposal are not another production.

Non Profit Organizations We Work With

From gaining donors from beautiful galas to generating buzz for an advocacy campaign, we understand what non profits need.

Annual Campaigns and Year-End Appeals

Video built for the last week of December, where the ask has to feel personal inside an inbox that is already full.

Capital Campaigns and Major Gifts

Video built for a gift that takes a year to close, where a donor has to see the building before the first shovel goes in the ground.

Galas and Fundraising Events

Video built for the room between dinner and the ask, where the story on screen sets the number every table writes down.

Grant Applications and Funder Reporting

Video built for the reviewer reading application forty of sixty, where two minutes of proof carries further than another attachment.

Program and Impact Storytelling

Video built for the people you serve, where consent and dignity matter every bit as much as the lighting does.

Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding

Video built for the Saturday shift you need to fill, where a volunteer wants to know what the day actually looks like before she signs up.

Advocacy and Awareness Campaigns

Video built for an issue most people have never had to think about, where the first thirty seconds decide whether they keep watching.

Aktion Productions FAQ

Common Questions from Non Profit Organizations

How much does a nonprofit video cost?

Most nonprofit videos cost between $3,000 and $15,000, and what moves the number is the count of shoot days and locations, along with how many people you need on camera. A single-location donor story with one interview subject sits at the low end. A campaign film shot across several program sites over multiple days sits at the high end.

How long should a nonprofit fundraising video be?

A nonprofit fundraising video should run 90 seconds to three minutes for most uses, and closer to two minutes when it plays live in front of an ask. Wyzowl’s 2026 survey found that 71% of people consider videos between 30 seconds and two minutes the most effective length. Gala films get a little more room, because a seated and quiet ballroom will stay with a story past the three-minute mark in a way a Facebook feed never will.

When should a nonprofit start production for a year-end campaign or gala?

Start at least 10 to 12 weeks before the video has to be live. A single-video project typically takes six to ten weeks from kickoff to final delivery, and scheduling program participants is usually the slowest step in that timeline. M+R’s 2026 Benchmarks report found that nonprofits collected 37% of all online revenue in December alone, so a campaign video that goes live on December 20 has already missed most of the season it was made for.

Consent is handled before the camera comes out. That means a signed release from every person appearing on camera, guardian consent for anyone under 18, and a documented option to be filmed in silhouette or with identifying details removed. Participants should also be told where the video will run and for how long, because a story filmed for one gala often lives on a website for years afterward. Aktion collects releases during the Plan phase, so nobody is asked to sign a form while a crew waits.

Do you travel outside Orlando?

Yes. We serve clients across Central Florida and travel to other locations for an additional fee.

Can one shoot produce videos for the gala, the grant application, and social media?

Yes, one shoot day can produce a gala film, a grant application video, and a month of social clips, as long as every version is planned before filming starts. That means framing vertical takes for social alongside the horizontal master, running interviews long enough to cut a 30-second version, and capturing b-roll of the program actually running for the funder-facing edit. Organizations that decide on the extra versions after the shoot usually end up paying for a second one.

Lights. Camera. Aktion.
